Davon ist die Bevölkerung der Nassarawa-Eggon-Gemeinde im Bundesstaat Nasarawa in Nigeria betroffen. Dies führt zu körperlichen, psychischen und psychologischen Komplikationen bei den Opfern. Das Buch richtet einen eindringlichen Appell an kommunale Gesundheitsstellen, Gesundheitspersonal, Fachkräfte für psychische Gesundheit und die breite Öffentlichkeit, bei der Bereitstellung psychotherapeutischer Dienste für die Opfer diagnostisches Gespür walten zu lassen.
