She has written ever since publishing poetry books and chapbooks. teaching creative writing classes and workshops, judging and sponsoring poetry contests, editing Calyx Books for 32 years, serving on boards for Oregon Poetry Association and PEN Women of Portland, part of the Writing the Wrongs to Rights Huddle, member of poetry critique groups, avid competitive and cooperative Scrabble player, appreciates plays, poetry readings, science and arts. She lives with husband Court in Corvallis, Oregon in a mini-museum of miniatures.
