From his awkward early days in Lehigh Valley, Tower had many roads to travel before coming of age. Those roads took him from working for a shady construction operation in Phoenix to helping underprivileged people in Lima, Peru. The path from childhood to maturity included several brushes with the law and two stints in prison.
