Warriors & Words: Memoirs of Battles is a collection of quotes and poems I authored over nearly two decades. They are designed to introduce the enlisted servicemember to the human dimensions of modern warfare and its challenges. In doing so, I hope that these few words will encourage the owner to record, in writing, their own experiences and interpretations so that their words may become a source of self-reflection and self-improvement. Equally as important, this journal may serve as a family heirloom for generations to come.
