Growing up in the mountains of southwestern Colorado, Jeannie O. Harsha learned, early on, how to be still enough to savor what she describes as the 'hushed and gentle moments.' Poetry became, for her, a way of naming, celebrating, and sharing the small beauties found in such moments.
