Walking In Your Feet traces the beginnings of Andrew’s life in a narrow mountain valley in north-eastern Victoria and ends in the Austrian Alps. It follows his journey through the iron ore exploration camps of the Western Australian deserts and the cattle yards of the Northern Territory, to the Gulf of Queensland, working as a stockman, mustering bush cattle. A cowboy musician, he played music in the coffee shops and restaurants of Cairns, all the way to the chalets and schnapps bars of Italy, Austria and Switzerland.Andrew was drawn by an inner calling and a curiosity to understand both himself and the ephemeral existence around him. Enlightened by a spiritual philosophy handed to him by an old Aboriginal elder, the undeniable truth and simplicity of ’Walking In Your Feet’ has sustained him his entire life. 'When I am in doubt, I look down to see where I am on this earth, and then I look up to see where I am positioned in the universe.' This is the story of the times Andrew looked down and found he wasn’t where he should be, and the other times when the mobius strip of life became a clearer path.
