College student, Kayla Devereaux, embarks on a road trip back home, accompanied by her roommate, Jordyn Fisher, for a weekend getaway to escape the pressures of her junior year spring semester. She’s immediately thrown into a baffling mystery as a quick bathroom break at a secluded gas station results in Jordyn’s sudden disappearance. The situation becomes even more puzzling when Jordyn reappears on campus a couple of days later, feeling sick but refusing to explain to Kayla what happened. As doubts, accusations, and speculation swirl around them, Kayla struggles to uncover the truth behind Jordyn’s disappearance and the role a suspicious gas station owner may have played in her vanishing. Kayla’s anxiety intensifies when a mysterious car that was parked at the gas station on the night Jordyn went missing suddenly appears on campus. Kayla’s college way of life turns completely upside down. Her casual strolls on campus have become nerve-racking moments, filled with constant looks over her shoulder and the crippling fear she’s being watched. And not only is there trouble brewing on campus, but also on the home front. Kayla’s parents always shy away from any discussions centered around family. She has a strong hunch they’re hiding something about her family history, but the question is whether she’s prepared to hear the mind-blowing secret they’ve kept under wraps for far too long.
