Cet ouvrage présente les travaux réalisés sur la visualisation d’images hyperspectrales issues de la télédétection sur des dispositifs d’affichage courants, en exploitant les propriétés du système visuel humain. Des méthodes de réduction de dimensionnalité ont été développées pour l’affichage d’images hyperspectrales, tout en tenant compte des objets présents dans des bandes spectrales isolées. Les algorithmes proposés sont comparés aux techniques existantes. Les algorithmes proposés permettent de trouver des informations pertinentes et de les afficher à l’écran, afin qu’elles puissent être analysées à des fins de cartographie géologique et de défense.
