While visiting their grandparent’s millpond home Drew and Addison meet and become fast friends with Virgil. Virgil is an old Canada goose; the lone survivor of twelve goslings delivered and then released by USPS. Across his many migrations Virgil has always enjoyed sharing the twelve’s glorious history. Until Drew and Addison, and a young mated pair, Eagan and Sophia, no one had questioned his version of millpond life. With his beliefs turned upside down and his contentment shattered, Virgil, with his young friends, travels a humor filled romp in an effort to uncover life’s true meaning.

    Stuart Evans
Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
