Las personas transgénero en el centro de Kerala sufren importantes violaciones de los derechos humanos a pesar de las políticas progresistas del gobierno estatal destinadas a fomentar la inclusión. Este estudio cualitativo tiene como objetivo explorar la naturaleza y el alcance de estas violaciones, entre las que se incluyen la discriminación, la violencia y la denegación del acceso a la atención sanitaria, la educación y el empleo.Se realizarán entrevistas en profundidad a personas transgénero, sus familiares y líderes comunitarios para recopilar datos.
