Description of Victory   This is the sequel to WAY OF THE LAMB concerning Yeshua the Anointed One of God.   In VICTORY OF THE LAMB, Yeshua’s mission has taken a perilous turn. The crowds of his followers has grown exponentially, making the powers and principalities even more determined to hinder his ministry, by destroying the believers’ faith and turning them against Yeshua. They seek to rule over Yeshua’s coming kingdom and keep it as their own. Powerful men have become single-minded about destroying him, making his mission a deadly game of cat and mouse. Before he will allow himself to fall into their hands, he must complete his training of his disciples and unite them so they can survive all that lay ahead.  The journey has not been easy for his Disciples. They struggle with doubt despite the awesome power of God they see at work within his miracles. Yeshua remains an enigma to them; his teachings confound them, and he continues to challenge them and lead them to unexpected and dangerous places. He continues to gather some highly suspect undesirables.   With the most recent death of the Baptizer, Yeshua and his disciples have become marked men. On the run, the conflict continues to escalate, making the journey all the more unpredictable. It would easier if they knew the details of Yeshua’s endgame, but they still wait for an epiphany that hasn’t come..    When Yeshua begins to talk about his future crucifixion, his disciples become concerned for his sanity. They quickly reject and discourage such thoughts. Yeshua, however, remains steadfast in his dire prediction, even when the burden of the prophecy threatens to undo him.    The disciples wonder: ’Is Yeshua the Anointed One foretold from old? Is he human or divine? Is he the Son of God? When will his kingdom come? How will he make his rise to power? What if he is killed, will they die with him? If not, who will lead the movement then? How will they dodge the dangers that lay ahead?’  The adventure is far from over. Hurry to catch up. Now is not the time to be faint of heart.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present.
