En 1902 el ilusionista y cineasta francés Georges Méliès estrenó la película "Viaje a la Luna", donde se cuentan las peripecias que vive un grupo de astrónomos para llegar al satélite natural de nuestro planeta y lo que después hallaron allí. Dicho "film" es todo un clásico de la historia del cine y el dibujante Enrique Quevedo y el guionista Fran Nuño han querido homenajear a su creador con este estupendo cómic dirigido tanto al público infantil como adulto en general. Méliès, para llevar a cabo su gran maravilla de menos de quince minutos de duración, se basó en una peculiar mezcla de las novelas "De la Tierra a la Luna", de Julio Verne, y "Los primeros hombres en la Luna", de H.
