Einleitung: Antibiotika (ATB) machen einen großen Teil der Medikamentenverschreibung bei Kindern aus. Ziel: Bewertung der Qualität der Verschreibung von Antibiotika bei Kindern unter 5 Jahren in den Kinderstationen von 6 Gesundheitsdiensten in Bamako. Methode: Es handelte sich um eine deskriptive Querschnittsstudie zur Bewertung der Verschreibungsqualität von Antibiotika bei Kindern unter 5 Jahren über einen Zeitraum von zwei Wochen in jeder Abteilung. Unsere Studie wurde in 6 pädiatrischen Abteilungen in Bamako (Mali) durchgeführt und betraf 481 Rezepte. Ergebnisse: In dieser Studie war das männliche Geschlecht mit 54 % der Fälle und einem Geschlechterverhältnis von 1,17 vorherrschend. Von den 481 verschriebenen Rezepten trugen die meisten den Namen des Verschreibers und den Stempel (96,6%). In 28% der Fälle waren die verschreibenden Ärzte Allgemeinmediziner. Ceftriaxon wurde mit 37,6% am häufigsten verschrieben, gefolgt von Amoxicillin mit 28% und Gentamicin mit 21,6%.
