Elektrizität ist die wichtigste Voraussetzung für die Entwicklung eines Landes in jeder Gesellschaft. Da die Nachfrage nach Strom auf der ganzen Welt gestiegen ist, muss sie stabil und zuverlässig kontrolliert werden. Auch in Myanmar steigt die Nachfrage nach Strom Jahr für Jahr rapide an, so dass die Überwachung und Steuerung des Stromnetzes in dem heutigen komplexen Stromsystem unerlässlich ist. Ohne eine effiziente Kontrollmethode wird das Verteilungssystem nicht zuverlässig sein, auch wenn die Erzeugung den maximalen Bedarf deckt. Da unser Land, Myanmar, ein Entwicklungsland ist, muss es die Stromverteilungsstationen verbessern, damit sie in erster Linie zuverlässig gesteuert werden können. SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) ermöglicht die Fernsteuerung, -kontrolle und -überwachung für die industrielle Automatisierung und wird auch für den Gesamtbetrieb eines modernen Stromnetzes eingesetzt. In meinem Buch wird die Verbesserung der 230 kV Tharkayta Distribution Substation und der 230 kV Hlawga Distribution Substation mit Hilfe des SCADA-Systems durchgeführt.
