Die Verbesserung der Intelligenz und Sicherheit eines Tagging-Systems zielt darauf ab, einem statischen RFID-Tag Intelligenz hinzuzufügen, so dass der Tag für mehrere Zwecke verwendet werden kann, z. B. zum Auffinden des Standorts, zur Warnung vor Manipulationen, zur Übertragung seiner eigenen Identifikation, zur Warnung vor Standortänderungen, zur Kommunikation mit einem lokalen mobilen Gerät, zur Herstellung der Kommunikation unter Verwendung mehrerer drahtloser Protokolle, zur Sicherung der Kommunikation, zur Hinzufügung von Anwendungskomponenten zu einem mobilen Gerät ohne Beeinträchtigung des Durchsatzes und der Reaktionszeit und zur Sicherung der Kommunikation unter Verwendung lokaler Clouds. Der Prozess der Entwicklung jeder einzelnen Intelligenz in ein individuelles eingebettetes System und die anschließende Integration aller Funktionen in ein einziges eingebettetes System wurde ausführlich erläutert. Sowohl die Fragen der Hardware- als auch der Software-Integration werden in diesem Buch erörtert. Die Software-Architekturmodelle für die Implementierung jeder einzelnen Intelligenz wurden in dem Buch vorgestellt. Die in dem Buch vorgestellten Erfindungen sind recht neuartig, und die Arbeitsmodelle derselben wurden im Buch vorgestellt.
