O presente trabalho de investigação realizado por duas alunas do quinto ano de Língua e Literatura da Universidade Nacional Autónoma da Nicarágua UNAN-LEÓN, tem como objetivo avaliar o valor histórico, social e cultural da mulher na obra 'El Burdel de las Pedrarias' de Ricardo Pasos Marciacq, a partir de uma análise narratológica, aplicando a teoria triádica do filólogo francês e pai da narratologia, Gerard Genette. Para além disso, determinar o impacto e o aspeto social da mulher na época colonial no romance 'El Burdel de las Pedrarias'. Para dar conhecimento desta investigação elaborámos estratégias e técnicas de leitura: relemos a obra, analisando e sintetizando todo o romance por capítulos para conseguir uma melhor e maior compreensão, ao mesmo tempo que reflectimos sobre a importância do conhecimento da nossa história em que participaram os nossos indígenas na época da conquista e colonização da Nicarágua.
