Mit diesem Buch soll die prädiktive Validität des WCA für Kreuzschmerzen bei Arbeitnehmern in der Kategorie der Dauerarbeit ermittelt werden. Die Aufgabenanalyse wurde für alle Tätigkeiten durchgeführt und in Risikobereiche eingeteilt und entsprechend für die Berufe Tischler, Maler, Klempner, Elektriker, Hausmeister und Pförtner abgestuft. Die Ergebnisse haben gezeigt, dass ein signifikanter Grad der Assoziation mit Kreuzschmerzen besteht, der unter (0,6-0,8 moderate Assoziation) fällt. Die Bewertung der Arbeitsfähigkeit steht in einem mäßigen Zusammenhang mit Kreuzschmerzen. Das Instrument zur Bewertung der Arbeitsfähigkeit muss modifiziert werden, um klare Anweisungen zu erhalten, wenn es unklar ist.
