Insbesondere wird das Lexikon der angewandten Kunst, das im Laufe der Zeit seltene Meisterwerke bewahrt und eine reiche Quelle der Literatursprache darstellt, auf wissenschaftlicher Grundlage linguistisch untersucht und sein Verhältnis zur Literatursprache bestimmt.
