!I will endlessly crush the candy pieces, grinding them into colored flour on the floor, I will let them mix with some of those droplets, falling from the clouds that rose from a river.I will mix them like clay, making a fine powder of white words. This is Ramallah in the morning. The novel begins in the vibrant heartof the city square. And over twenty-four hours, it unfolds its chapters at the checkpoint of Qalandia.Amidst tangled relationships, barriers, walls, and our perceptions of ourselves as well as the stories of places, can the novel portray what disturbs familiar images, in search of the characters’ realities and their vanishing yet very vivid dreams?!
