Unto Caesar is a historical fiction novel written by Baroness Orczy and published in 1914. The story is set in ancient Rome during the reign of Emperor Nero, and follows the life of a young Christian woman named Berenice, who is forced to navigate the dangerous political and social landscape of the Roman Empire. Berenice is a devout Christian who is committed to her faith, but she must also deal with the reality of living in a society that is hostile to her beliefs. As she struggles to survive and protect those she loves, Berenice finds herself caught up in a web of intrigue and betrayal that threatens to destroy everything she holds dear. Along the way, she encounters a cast of colorful characters, including the infamous Emperor Nero himself, as well as a number of other historical figures from the period. Unto Caesar is a gripping and suspenseful tale of love, faith, and survival in one of the most tumultuous periods of human history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.        “Some shows have warnings for strobe lights. Blood in the battle for racial equality is no surprise, but f...
