Prof. Dhiman, has been Chairman, sports Committee, Member Syndicate, Senate, Academic council, faulty of Arts and Social Sciences and Board of Studies in education of Punjabi University, Patiala. He has also been Executive Member of Non-Government Colleges? Management Federation, Punjab and Chandigarh. Prof. Dhiman. Just after passing his Matriculation, started his career as a Teacher in 1949 at D.S.S.D. High School, Jalandhar and was promoted as Head, Deptt. Of Mathematics and incharge Scholarship Classes in 1950. Prof. Dhiman has to his credit 13 years experience of teaching several subjects in school, and 27 years teaching experience of almost all subject to M.E.D. and B.E.d. Classes and five years teaching experience to I.A.S. at I.A.S. Coaching Center, Punjabi university, Patiala. Since 1949, he has been involved in Educational Administration in various fields. He worked as Principal of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala for two years when terrorism was alarming and his predecessor was shot-dead by the terrorists at the College Campus during day time. Prof Dhiman has published several original books, which found wide circulation. His book ?Gandhian Philosophy A Critical and Comprehensive Study? with a Foreword by Shri R.R.
