Although I was nearly killed on a horse at a young age, I remain loyal to and love all things related to horses. Several poems in this collection have footnotes at the end of the poem. Hopefully, you will find this helpful. Why the quote? Why not? I love quotes. There are no poems shorter, more concise, and more powerful than simple quotes. And how can you not love one by Mae West?
