Les aziridines sont connues depuis longtemps comme des composés alkylants, donc des produits dangereux qui provoquent un certain nombre de cancers.Cependant, des structures modifiées dérivées d’acides aminés nous ont permis d’obtenir certaines nouveautés qui ont montré une activité anticancéreuse intéressante qui pourrait ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives thérapeutiques. En outre, l’inclusion d’aziridines dans la bêta-cyclodextrine pourrait stimuler la synthèse de composés qui présentent des propriétés telles que la solubilité et la stabilité tout en conservant leur activité biologique, surmontant ainsi un certain nombre d’effets secondaires connus.
