Foram efectuadas medições atmosféricas integradas em Kadapa (14,28 graus N, 78,42 graus E), Índia, durante o eclipse solar anular de 15 de janeiro de 2010. Observações meteorológicas sensíveis e de alta resolução revelaram efeitos atmosféricos dinâmicos apesar da presença de nuvens. As alterações de curto prazo relacionadas com o eclipse predominaram sobre a temperatura, a velocidade e a direção do vento associadas às condições sinópticas. A altura da temperatura do ponto frio (CPT) e o seu valor diminuíram durante a fase máxima do eclipse solar anular. Observa-se uma diminuição da temperatura da troposfera e da estratosfera inferior durante o eclipse solar. Uma forte inversão de temperatura é observada no dia do eclipse. A oscilação da onda também é observada durante a fase máxima do eclipse solar na faixa de altura de 17-22 km em comparação com o dia do eclipse e o dia de controlo.
