Uber is the world’s largest taxi company but they don’t own any cars. Airbnb is the largest hotel business on the planet but they don’t own a single hotel. I had not even heard of Airbnb a few years ago. Now I use the application regularly. The internet continues to change our lives in so many ways. Most of us don’t realize how the internet has changed dating and matchmaking. Most people don’t care. But almost everyone will be looking for companionship and love at some point in their lives and now the internet is a viable option in that search. A lot of people continue to just call a taxi. And most people still think using the internet for dating is 'looking for love in all the wrong places.' I believe that perception is beginning to change. I think more and more people will be using this method in the future. One of the reasons I am writing this book is to provide some guidance through this very complicated and potentially dangerous process. I am hoping someone will learn from my experience. I am also writing it to gain a better understanding of this very complicated and controversial part of my life. I am not a professional writer. I don’t know the difference between a split infinitive and a dangling participle. Both terms sound mildly sexually suggestive to me. I am just a simple storyteller and this is my story. My story is true but I made some assumptions that turned out to be wrong. I give my opinion and my opinion changed over time. Others will have conflicting opinions and they might be right. It is not my objective to give specific advice. I simply tell a true story about success, hope, failure, despair, and survival. If you have ever been in love you are likely familiar with these feelings. I hope you will learn something from my successes and my failures. And I hope I have learned something. But, I am a slow learner.Warning: Contains Graphic Adult Content
