A presente obra analisa a relação entre Ubuntu e direitos humanos no contexto moçambicano, propondo uma reflexão filosófica sobre dignidade humana, reconhecimento social e reintegração comunitária. Partindo das epistemologias africanas, o estudo discute os limites das interpretações eurocêntricas dos direitos humanos e defende Ubuntu como fundamento ético-africano baseado na interdependência humana, solidariedade e responsabilidade comunitária. A investigação aborda questões relacionadas ao pluralismo jurídico, exclusão social, justiça restaurativa, ética do cuidado e reintegração de grupos vulneráveis em Moçambique. O livro analisa igualmente os desafios históricos dos direitos humanos desde o período colonial até à contemporaneidade, enfatizando os impactos das desigualdades sociais, conflitos armados e fragilidades institucionais. Conclui-se que Ubuntu oferece importantes contribuições para construção de uma práxis moçambicana de direitos humanos centrada na humanização das relações sociais, na justiça comunitária e na reconstrução da dignidade humana.
