It tells of a society in the throes of change driven by paranoia; yet unchanged in a social character that suffers itself with fear and greed: a toxic society where the privileged commit the worst political crimes, carried out by an army of bureaucrats, and accepted by nearly all as normal. It is the old tale of fear and greed causing democracies to fail in their self proclaimed ethical obligations to be rational and just, and predatory paramilitary states to flourish. It is a condition of social paranoia built upon the foundations of predatory economics which has fertilized an impoverished world of desperate people, controlled by the powerful, cemented in place by ideologies of moral entreprenuerism of mixing religion and state 'pushed' by the military-industrial complex, driving most governments on in a race to control diminishing resources through the barrel of a gun.
