Trident is a collection of Scott Byorums poetry written from his late teens into his early forties. It is presented in three distinct chapters that represent progressive phases of his life and his perceptions of it. The overarching theme of the book is Scotts struggle with acceptance, love, loss, mental health, and the outside world. The concepts and ideas expressed in this book are of the authors interpretive imagination only but based on his real experiences.
