Cet ouvrage présente les résultats d’une étude rétrospective portant sur trente et un mois de traumatismes oculaires recensés à l’hôpital universitaire de Hawassa, en Éthiopie. L’étude a été menée en examinant les dossiers des patients. Plus de mille deux cents cas de traumatismes oculaires ont été signalés en trente et un mois, mais seuls sept cent soixante-treize cas comportant des informations/données complètes dans les dossiers ont été inclus dans l’étude. Les cas étaient fréquents chez les enfants.
