A osteoartrose do joelho é uma doença reumática crónica comum, representando uma das principais causas de dor e incapacidade na maior parte do mundo. O objetivo desta avaliação foi avaliar a eficácia do fortalecimento muscular com restrição do fluxo sanguíneo (BFR) como complemento da reabilitação convencional em doentes com gonartrose.Verificámos que a adição do reforço muscular com BFR a um programa de reabilitação convencional optimizou o tratamento dos doentes com gonartrose. Esta abordagem merece ser incorporada em protocolos padrão.
