Her small chest raised into the air and then settled again. John quickly rushed to her side; the sight of her mangled body worsened with each strike of lightning. The fear of some wild beast quickly arose, forcing John’s attention to the door with the possibility of it standing in the darkness, drooling over the thought of raging in and reclaiming what belonged to it, but the dampening emptiness stated otherwise. With relief, he turned back toward the girl, gasping for air as he fell backward. His hands sank into the blood that lay splattered across the ground. He scrambled to his feet, the light outside filled the shed with a sight of death as the remains of the little girls rotting corpse lay at John’s feet as though time had lapsed and he was peering into the outcome of the little girl’s reality, he quickly closed his eyes, the less he saw, the less he would remember. His mind begged for ease from the pain he endured from seeing the messed-up situations he was forced to endure from each life that he kept getting trapped inside of, wishing for an end to his nightmare. He took a deep breath as he prepared himself to face the horror as he slowly opened his eyes. The room flickered through emptiness; he searched for signs of the girl, but she was gone. He raised his hands, bloodless.Cries of help came through the door as John quickly turned and ran outside. The little girl lay begging for her life halfway up the path. The thought of Michelle lying there forced him to run. The features of her face were inhuman as John knelt to examine her. The back of her head felt soft against his hand as though her skull were missing.'You poor thing, who did this to you?' John asked and tried to hold back the tears as he picked up her hand. What happens when your nightmares become reality, and you have to fight to stay alive or die? John is an ordinary man, enjoying his seemingly ordinary life with his wife Sarah and their dog Lady when his life is suddenly torn apart by an unseen force. His world is turned upside down when his beloved wife disappears, and so he begins his terrifying journey racing against time to find her and bring balance back to his own life. But each time that he is forced to live his life as someone else, makes all hope of regaining his own, seem hopeless. Every decision that he makes within each life affects his own reality, but each one of those decisions can have dire consequences.
