Translated from lifedeath, lovesex, happy(sad)ness, good(bad)ness, and on top of all, the TRUTH. Nero Suno, an expatriate fluent in 5 languages, an unapologetic perfectionist honest in his imperfections, meets no boundaries in his first Poetry & Art collection. This book has no ambition to allure everyone, however, it does hope to vibrate with some lonely hearts inside some special readers who are in pursuit of at least something. He chose English, his foreign language to ex(press, pose) his secretive self. Style and form have always been married to both universal and personal messages in his poetry. As a non-native speaker, it was convenient for him to be linguistically ''inventive'' and he enjoys the hidden possibilities that any kind of limitation offers him. In this era where anyone(thing) could be someone(thing) in the name of social media, his poetry requires intellectual ability, sensibility along with sense of humor to fairly digest.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....

  • a universe humanised

There are universes: the one humanised is where we are, the one humanised is inside each and every one of us.To Nero Suno, poetry is less than alphabet and grammar, more than sensuality and art. When the poet becomes everything, everything becomes poetry. And it takes the poetry in a reader to see and hear, to touch and feel, to understand his(her) own universe.Containing 100 p...
