Tossed Overboard is a thriller that curves into a courtroom drama. Private Detective Rocky Stonebrook accepts an assignment to verify allegations of mistreatment and murder on the high seas. He goes undercover as a deckhand on a merchant ship but is discovered. The ship’s officers drugged him and sold him to a mysterious stranger. Meanwhile, his sidekick methodically uncovers the veils concealing the ship’s true owners. The action takes place in the Irish Sea, in the Mediterranean, in Morocco, in Algeria, in London, in Gibraltar, in Miami, and ultimately, in a trial in Minneapolis.
