Deborah McKee, née Malt, was born in Nottingham, England. Her family immigrated to Orillia, Ontario, Canada in the mid 70’s. Matthew McKee was born in North Bay, Ontario, and raised in Orillia, Ontario for most of his life.Both met one night in a pub at the college after each of their classes had finished.
