Like a prophet, the author points the accusatory finger at the churches of Christianity and finds them guilty. They all are mired in unrecognized idolatry and error. And it’s not just their secondary, peripheral doctrines that are wayward. Their central doctrines about God, sin, salvation, the cross, and others are wrong, wrong, wrong. That sounds unbelievable, until you understand the real truth about God and his plans for the world, and the humans that are his focus. Metamorphosis is on his mind. He’s preparing for himself a new Body. The creation was the first step. Reconciliation in Christ will be the next step.

But the churches have covered these truths with a set of illogical, magical myths. And they have unwittingly made God into a fiendish, three-headed gargoyle, thinking to please him! Think again, child.
