A shocking event can break you, but can also forge a stronger and more sensitive person. From the traumatic experience the author rose as a phoenix from the ashes to reclaim her place in this world, to reaffirm her rights as a woman, fighting every day for equality and respect. The passion for the Public Speaking is a gift that combined with a strong will could be that sparkle lighting the fire of changing, that power the can change the world.Poetry is a powerful weapon, and when used by a wounded soul like Lisa’s creates an incredible cocktail, but symbolizes also the contrast between the tenderness of the human soul and the harshness of the message. In the frenetic and constantly evolving world we are living in, poetry can be the anchor in the tides of life. Through poetry the author transforms her suffering in vital power, to overcome the pain of a brutal wound. Poetry is healing; the vehicle of a new awakening, a new blossoming, bringing new life to this wounded world. Born and raised in South Africa, Lisa Asivile Mpoposhe is the last of seven kids. She studied Language and Dramatic Art and developed a strong passion for Debating and Public Speaking, in which her multi-faceted ability makes her spark bright.Diagnosed with chronic intracranial hypertension had to abandon her studies, focusing on performing arts, her true vocation. Her photos were published by Vogue and she collaborated with YOU Magazine, she is already a published writer for short stories and News24 Fiction column.
