In 1993 two brothers - a writer and an artist - pooled their talents to produce an illustrated collection of Cornish stories in verse, Tales from the Summer Lands. To celebrate the timeless magic of the Summer Lands, this new, revised and updated edition of the collection incorporates many of the original tales with the addition of some new verses and illustrations, and a catalogue of prints. Tony Cottrell’s verse is set in the semi-mythical realm of the Summer Lands to the far southwest of England. Cornwall is unique in being a clearly bounded land still steeped in legend.
