This is an organ transplant story about how I overcame all odds that were against me and battled through sickness physical and emotional stress through the grace of God to receive a organ transplant (double lung and liver). Without the prayers of my wife my family my church family friends doctors and a few strangers praying for me keeping me encouraged and just helping me along the way. I dont believe I would have had the will to live if not for my wife pushing me so hard and giving me that extra uplifting every day. But thats why I wanted to tell my story to help someone else that may be going through sickness or any situation where it doesnt look like things will get better or there is no hope. I want this story to go further than I could ever go to help that person(s) that cant see how they can make it but can read my story and be inspired to keep fighting to live this precious life that we only get one shot at. I came so close to dying that in this story you will find where I wrote my wife a letter because I could not talk at the time because I was on so much oxygen telling her what I thought could be my last will and testament. Not that I gave up because I never stop fighting to live. In this story you will find how I prayed to God and asked him for another chance at life to spend with my beautiful wife and kids after the doctors I had told me that they would have to send me home on hospice care. This story is my testimony and I hope it blesses everybody that reads it.
