This is the first book of a series which follows the career of Detective Alan Simpson as he attempts to solve three separate murders.The first is the murder of three members of the Cambridge Women’s Institute. Alan enters the world of MI5 and ’The Troubles’ in Northern Island. The second is the murder of a wealthy property developer whose family has much to gain from his demise. The third is of a Southeast London gangster who has been stealing from his boss. All these murders take place in and around Cambridge, where Alan is based. His success is based on hard work, intense police enquiries and teamwork.
