The Ranch Boss, the Wicked Mayor, the Gunslinger, the Hero, the Heroine and the SaloonGal - a rich canvas of life in the old Wild West is starkly depicted in these unforgettable stanzas.The Day of Reckoning is specially written for an all-female cast. but like the other two sketches is simple to stage. With a plot of ludicrously labyrinthine complexity and a plethora of Gilbertian coincidences this one-act playcharts the startling change in for tunes of a poor but honest widow and her daughter not to mention their eccentric neighbour. Or is she more than just a neighbour ...?
