This is Swifts Creek captures the spirit of the town and the mighty Tambo River through the eyes of the children who live and learn there. Created by the Year 3/4 students of Swifts Creek P-12 School with local artist Deborah Mazzallo-Martinez, this picture book reflects the rhythms, colours and voices of life in East Gippsland, Victoria. Told through the seasons, from the soft greens of spring to the crackle of summer, the golds of autumn and the quiet hush of winter, these pages hold what it means to belong, to a place, to each other and to a story still unfolding.
