Whilst this book is partially concerned with how I think I think, I am always open to having my mind changed, sometimes by human intervention, sometimes by divine intervention. The latter is not of the Damascus Road level of intervention, but through speakers, books, TV programmes, radio, songs, nature and any other source through which God can open up my mind, including of course, the Holy Spirit. Less so with human interventions, but I do obtain some valuable material from sources which are not biblically based. I do my uttermost to maintain a balance in what I write, in that I do not only quote references that only appease my way of thinking. I am not a neuroscientist, or a psychologist, psychiatrist or any other kind of ’ist’, so I may not use the ’correct’ terminology or follow scientific ’rules’ that people would expect from such professionals. This is a book mainly based on personal experience with help from scripture and selected sources.

    Bodo Balsys
The theme of the first of the two parts of this volume concerns the feminine deva hierarchy, their relation to Hierarchy and Shambhala. Many concepts are introduced that most seekers have little cognisance (e.g., the nature of the deva Lord Varuna). The Mother of the World’s role is revealed, and the feminine function in cosmos, (e.g., the Pleiades). Advanced teaching concernin...

Here is a collection of journaled essays leading to the inevitable belief in theological fatalism, aka Theofatalism. They include arguments from theology, psychology, politics, geology, technology, sociology, economics, history, cosmology and more. With this belief system, you can feel good inside no matter what happens outside. It may take several readings to get it, but anyth...

    Epictetus Epictetus
No writings of Epictetus himself are really known. His discourses were transcribed and compiled by his pupil Arrian (author of the Anabasis Alexandri). The main work is The Discourses, four books of which have been preserved (out of an original eight). Arrian also compiled a popular digest, entitled the Enchiridion, or Handbook. In a preface to the Discourses, addressed to Luci...

  • I Said I’d Be Back
    David Napier
As I started this book, Easter has just passed, the usual sermons offered, the resurrection of Jesus suddenly took on a new life (no pun intended): I wrote a small book on the crucifixion last year, and felt the need to write this one too, not so much as a follow up, for they are naturally very much interlinked - but if Jesus never died there would be no resurrection; no resurr...

  • Unbelievable gods?

At just short of 70 I have been around too long to be bothered by people thinking I am crazy, especially when I ofttimes tell them of my waking thoughts. This one woke me at 5am: possibly because I started watching the TV series of Smallville, the exploits of the young Superman. Most ’normal people’ watched this many years ago, but I am not an aficionado of TV so wouldn’t have ...

Whenever I read the bible, I automatically try to think of the verse or passage being read in today’s speak, attempting to see any parallels between then and now. Thus, if John was writing these letters today would he be self-publishing, using YouTube, TikTok or whatever was the social media flavour of the month? It is too ’easy’ to forget to think like this, yet, if there are ...

In discussion with some family members, there was no option apart from burial; when I started to discuss the issue further, the conversation was cut short - they had made up their minds and that was that. This is quite a common experience, whether believers or not. As will be discussed, I care not how I am disposed of, but as of writing this, my main ’preference’ would be crema...

  • Sonworshippers

I started writing this offering as that strange yellow globe shone in the sky above Wales, a sight which is as rare as spotting a Dodo shopping in a local store! Ok, not quite that bad, but it did make me wonder how many of us worship the Son (Jesus) as much as we worship the sun. Logically or spiritually, there is no comparison to be made, but it helped me consolidate some tho...
