This collection of Stacie Ann Leininger’s words is meant to inspire writers with learning differences to continue their literary journeys.Just as she did in her poetry book To Overcome is to Be, Stacie uses footnotes to explain the inspiration behind these literary pieces and to give insight as to how she turned personal tragedies into powerful poems. These works were written between the ages of fifteen and twenty-three then edited between the ages of forty-one and forty-five.*A portion of all sales will be donated to nonprofits in memory of homicide victim Andrew James McMahon (1980-1995).
