It begins when the two boys became childhood friends and details how they chose a life of crime, the backlash they received from their families, and the ultimate downfall they experienced following a chance meeting with a man called Barabbas. The imagined backstory helps bring illumination to the very brief mention of these thieves as read in Luke 23:32-43.
