There Is More to Your Story

The Psalms were born in fields-written by a shepherd who heard God’s voice in open spaces, quiet mornings, and long nights under the stars. David wrestles, weeps, rejoices, and returns-again and again-to the God whose voice creates, restores, and leads.Renee Lamoureux knows that landscape well. As the wife of a church-planting pastor, she has lived her own shepherd’s wife story: tending people, carrying burdens, walking through valleys, and learning to trust the God who guides His flock. Her journey through depression, anxiety, and the hard work of counseling has taught her what David knew-God meets His people in the places they least expect, and His voice still speaks life into the weary. There Is More to Your Story: A 21-Day Journey Through Psalms, with the God Who Knows Our Stories, offers a devotional shaped by the Psalms of David. Each day invites you to slow down, look up, and listen for the voice of God. The God who spoke light into darkness still speaks into our needs. The God who led David through caves, conflict, and calling still leads His people today. And the God who restored Renee’s heart is writing restoration into yours. This devotional is for anyone who feels stuck between chapters-anyone who wonders if their story has stalled, broken, or drifted too far. Through Scripture, reflection, and her own honest journey, Renee reminds you that the Shepherd is near, His voice is steady, and His work in you is not finished.
