- ABOUT THE BOOK: What happens when the world breaks you-but God still calls you forward? In 1970s Tennessee, Christian Logan returns from the jungles of Vietnam, carrying invisible scars and aching questions. Armed with little more than faith, hope, and a chalkboard, he begins a quiet war in his classroom-fighting for truth, integrity, and the hearts of his students. But as the ghosts of war follow him home and old love flickers in unexpected ways, Christian finds himself tested beyond textbooks and lesson plans. What begins as a year of promise slowly becomes one of loss, grief, and the kind of spiritual wrestling that leaves no soul unchanged. Through Christian’s journey-from a war-torn battlefield to heartbreak and healing-The Year of No Fruit is a powerful story of purpose, sacrifice, and the redemptive love of God. For anyone who has faced a season of silence, this novel reminds us: fruit may not come in every season, but God is always at work beneath the soil. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8:38-39 nkjv -ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Perry T. Montague grew up on a farm near the town of Somerville, TN. He often refers to the farm life as the best well-rounded life education a person could have. He likes to write about real people, mixing history and fiction for a compelling, colorful story. In his spare time, Perry enjoys the outdoors, studying history, horseback riding, and his hobby of metal detecting. This is his second Christian novel, the first titled The Treasures of Summerville. -ABOUT THE PUBLISHER: Innovo Publishing LLC is a Christian publisher located near Memphis, TN. Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
