Rose Alexander grew up in the Riverina in New South Wales, Australia. This is her story of searching for love in all the wrong places and finally meeting the only one that could fill that emptiness in her search for love: finding a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.Rose’s story is just like The Woman at the Well, a story told in the Bible in the Gospel of John about a woman who was searching for the Living Water that only Jesus Christ can give after a life of sin and many failed relationships.Rose says, 'I can now give thanks to God for my painful experiences because I have been forgiven and set free from my past, and Jesus promised that He would never leave me or forsake me. He filled that emptiness in my heart and His compassions are new every morning. You can claim them daily.'Rose is a singer/songwriter and spent a number of years singing with her late husband, Vic Sophios, and then with her friend, Liz West, as West’n’ Rose. Rose and Vic wrote many Country Gospel songs and Rose recorded four albums of these songs. Many were testimony songs of what Jesus had done in both hers and Vic’s life. Vic passed away in 2000 after a short battle with cancer. Rose is now married to Doug Alexander. This is the story of Rose’s life and testimony of what Jesus Christ can do if you put your trust in Him.'Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.' Lamentations 3: 22-23
