As a youth Brisbin Mindstorm did not think much about the world. His knowledge only extended as far as the grounds of his home in Derebond and insipid schoolwork. Then something changed in him. In all their adventures the two discover the true meaning of friendship, answers to complex questions about life, and their bond of common interest: finding truth. As they search the adventurers realize the complexity and meaning of the baton are something that will take a long time to understand. However, they remain certain that the baton’s power has everything to do with their ultimate destination.
