Every year, Lorna gets to spend a month with her father, a special and infrequent time that is often cut short because of his work as Saint Nic aka Santa Claus. For the remaining eleven months, he’s kept in a deep slumber. Which makes getting to know her father a struggle. So, Lorna’s mother decided when she was 12 that the visits should end. Six long years pass, and Lorna is now an adult able to make her own decisions, like coming up with a plan that involves Jack Frost’s help to end her father’s curse, but when an unexpected threat derails her plan, both Jack Frost and Lorna must escape to Autumn’s realm, a place that is always Fall. It’s a magical place with leaves that tumble and twirl, only to gather into the likeness of people, but things are different than Jack Frost remembers the place being, and soon they are swept up in a political game, neither of them wanted.
