The Wells of Our Fathers is an integrated study in hymnody. The workbook integrates History, Reading Comprehension, English literature, English grammar and definition, Art appreciation and application, Music appreciation, Ear training by melody, Old and New Testament Bible study and expository study methods. The workbook is also an excellent tool for Family Worship times or Church Sunday School. Students are encouraged to ask theological questions of parents, as the study lends itself to encouraging a greater curiosity concerning the Nature and Sovereign rule and reign of our great God. The purpose of the curriculum is to present hymn writers as real people to whom the student can relate; and that God used these real people for His glory.
